Sending Your Marker to AGD

Overview
What Do You Have To Do?

Although you can fix almost everything on your Automag with a little tuning or a new o-ring kit, there are times when its best to let AGD deal with it.

What many people don't realize is that AGD will fix your Automag FREE OF CHARGE if it has never been sent in before. This applies even for previous owners so check with AGD, but essentially you can get your marker completely rebuilt, tuned, and back to you for just the cost of the shipping.

It's pretty simple.
  1. Call AGD at (847) 520-7507
  2. Get a Retun Authorisation Number
  3. Remove all Non-AGD Parts (more info)
  4. Box up your Mag (make sure to put the RA# on the box!)
What If I Have Sent My Mag In Before?

That is ok. AGD will fix and tune your marker as needed for a flat fee.
  • Mechanical Automags- $45
  • E/X-Mags-$85

I suggest that you send in your AGD markers only when major things like the bolt, sear or something else is worn out and needs to be replaced. If your Mag just needs a few o-rings and a smaller shim in the lvl10, you are kind of wasting your time sending the thing to AGD.

It's also a good idea to have buy any AGD upgrades when you send in your marker because AGD will install them and perform any tuning needed to them in addition to rebuilding the marker.

Stars Or No Stars?
AGD used to have a star program running where each valve produced came with 1 or more star lasered onto the back reg section of the valve. While the program has changed and some start are now voided, AGD still honors the first time free policy regardless of if you are the original owner or not.

How Long Will It Take?
Usually a few weeks. This is one reason to only send in your marker when it needs to be completely rebuilt or if its REALLY jacked up. AGD has a large number of markers coming in for work and 3 weeks is not unusually for a turnaround time. So choose a month when you don't think you will need the marker or you have your backup working.

I will say this though. They really do go over your Mag with a fine tooth comb and give it some TLC. I have have always been impressed with the work they have don't to all my markers.
